1983年秋田県生まれ。
東洋と西洋、中国〜ペルシアのオリエンタリズムに強く惹かれ“時空”をテーマに、遥か彼方の時代の精神世界、文化、思想、宗教、暮らし…東洋人としてのルーツを辿る作品を表現しています。
過去の断片から現代に生きる私たちへ、時代時空を超える装置として作品が存在し、一つの空間を作っていけたらと考えています。
本質的なメッセージを私自身が探りながら、旅をするような感覚で作品と対峙しています。

I am deeply drawn to the Orient and Occident, particularly the Orientalism spanning China to Persia, and explore the theme of “time and space” in my work. Through my pieces, I express the spiritual worlds, cultures, philosophies, religions, and daily lives of distant eras, tracing my roots as an East Asian.

I hope that my work can exist as a device that bridges fragments of the past to our present lives, creating a space that transcends time and era. While seeking the essential messages within, I approach each piece with the sense of embarking on a journey, confronting it as one would explore a new landscape.
